Paced by Dawson Sloan and Blake Shanayda, each of whom shot 39, Delta defeated Wapahani 164-173 at Hickory Hills Golf Club. Wapahani’s Connor Hensley also shot 39 to tie Sloan and Shanayda for medalist honors.
Kaleb Rench earned medalist honors with a 42 as Daleville beat Shenandoah 175-184. Scott Anthony fired a 43, while Cole Meeker shot 44.
FOOTBALL
New Castle’s football team is hosting the Matt Smith Memorial Trojan Football Golf Outing on June 20 at Memorial Park Golf Course. Cost is $200 for a foursome and hole sponsorships are $100. The registration deadline is June 10. More information is available by calling 524-4571.
