Murali, who also plays soccer for the Trojans, was the Trojans’ only semistate qualifier in girls cross country last season. She ran a time of 20:56.47 at the Rushville Regional to advance to semistate.
Aubrey Norris
Aubrey Norris, Monroe Central
Norris started her 2014 postseason with a fifth-place finish at the Delta Sectional, where she ran a time of 21:02.05. She was the second-best East Central Indiana runner at the New Haven Semistate, finishing 71st in 20:55.74.
Suzanne Scanameo
Suzanne Scanameo, Yorktown
Scanameo finished in the top 10 at the Delta Regional last season, where she ran a time of 20:26.48 to finish 10th. She finished 10th at the Pendleton Heights Sectional with a time of 20:47.33.
Megan Wellman
Megan Wellman, Jay County
Wellman was a semistate qualifier for the Patriots last season, and a ninth-place finish at the Delta Sectional (21:17.46) was among her postseason highlights. She also finished 20th at the Delta Regional (21:13.07).
