VOLLEYBALL

Central held Anderson to single digits in each set, winning in three (25-4, 25-3, 25-8). Allison Ruddick and Jo Rammel each had four aces for the Bearcats, while Kinkaid Padgett covered the backcourt with 16 digs.

Wes-Del defeated Eastbrook 25-17, 25-9, 25-19. Alysa Sutton put up 21 kills and four blocks, while Haylie Spencer led the Warriors’ serving game with four aces.

Yorktown defeated New Palestine in three sets (25-17, 25-21, 25-16). Mimi Arrington led the Tigers in assists with 37, while Jade York put up 19 digs in the backcourt.

Blue River defeated Cowan in four sets Monday (25-16, 25-23, 9-25, 25-16). The Vikings’ Ashton Collins had eight kills.

Delta lost to Hamilton Southeastern 25-23, 20-25, 25-21, 23-25, 15-7. Audrey Woodin led the Eagles’ offense with 17 kills, followed by Chloe Stitt with 15.

New Castle suffered a five-set loss to Bishop Chatard (25-10, 16-25, 30-28, 14-25, 15-9). Peighton Barber helped guide the Trojan offense with 40 assists.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

Blue River finished first in a quad meet with 20 points, followed by Knightstown (45), Shenandoah (67) and Tri. Zach Barkdull earned first-place for the Vikings with a time of 17 minutes, 48 seconds.

Monroe Central placed first at the Randolph County meet with 21 points, followed by Winchester with 46 and Randolph Southern with 66. Conner Miller won the overall event for the Golden Bears, running a time of 3:33.4.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Blue River earned first place with 22 points in a quad meet against Knightstown, Shenandoah and Tri. The Vikings’ Logan McRoberts won with a time of 22:41.

Union City finished first at the Randolph County meet with 32 points, followed by Randolph Southern (44), Monroe Central (66) and Winchester (73). Aubrey Norris was the winner of the event for the Golden Bears, running a 23:59.8.

BOYS SOCCER

Heritage Hall shut out Indiana Christian Academy 8-0. Brayden Karnes and Justin Hiltz each scored three goals for the Patriots, while Skyler Posey had three assists.

GIRLS SOCCER

Jay County defeated Blackford 4-1. Lucy Laux had three goals for the Patriots, followed by Gabbie Mann with one goal and one assist. The Bruins’ Allie Jennerjahn scored the lone goal, while goalkeeper Catelynn Bennett had nine saves.

Yorktown defeated Delta 3-0 at home. Jaylynn Chavez, Sarah Beade and Lizzie Smith each put up a goal for the Tigers, while Katie Nixon had two assists.

BOYS TENNIS

Burris finished its regular season with a 5-0 sweep over conference opponent University. Connor Kurek earned the victory at No. 1 singles for the Owls 6-3, 6-3.
