Class 3A No. 1 Yorktown repeated its victory from a week earlier in the Delaware County Tournament’s championship match, beating Class 3A No. 5 Delta 25-18, 25-16, 25-18. The Tigers were led by Kenzie Knuckles with 12 kills and 18 digs, and Kendall Murr with 10 kills, an ace and a block. Delta was led by Chloe Stitt with nine kills and six digs, and Audrey Woodin with seven kills and seven digs.
Central won the NCC Conference Tournament, knocking off Lafayette Jefferson, Harrison and McCutcheon. Micah Leavell and E’laisah Young led the Bearcats with 20 kills each.
Wapahani dropped four matches at the Columbus East Invitational. Skyler VanNote led the Raiders with 38 kills.
