BOYS SWIMMING
Anderson edged Yorktown 112-62. Seth Fuller won the 500 freestyle, Alex Nickoli won the 200 individual medley, Isaiah Huisman won the 100 freestyle and Luke Ledbetter won the 200 freestyle. Those four swimmers combined to win the 200 medley relay.
Delta defeated Central 117-69. Alec Hale was a double winner for Central, winning the 200 free and the 100 backstroke. Cullen Tyler also won two events for Central, placing first in the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. Cody Anacker was a top finisher for Delta, winning both the 200 IM and 500 freestyle. Andrew Torres finished first in the 100 butterfly and the 50 freestyle.
Jay County claimed a 189-107 victory over Norwell. Cody Whitehad two individual wins, fnishing first in the 200 freestyle with a 2:02.07, and the 500 freestyle with a 5:40.19. James Keen took first in the 50 freestyle, finishing at 22.88, and the 100 backstroke, finishing at 54.63.
Bluffton defeated Blackford 141-37. Stephen McGahey won 100 breastand Zac Dudley took second in the 50 freestyle.
GIRLS SWIMMING
Jay County took a 189-107 victory over Norwell. Anne Vormohr had two individual wins, fnishing first in the 200 freestyle with a 2:04.62, and the 100 butterfly with a 1:02.64. Alex Bader took first in the 50 freestyle, finishing at 25.67, and the 100 breaststroke, finishing at 1:08.84. Sophie Bader was also a double winner for the Patriots, finishing first in the 100 freestyle, with a time of 54.96, and the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:01.89.
Central defeated Delta 103-83. Kayla Beaty was a double winner for Central, winning the 200 free and the 500 freestyle. Alexa Milholland won two events for Delta, placing first in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.
Yorktown won 118-68 against Anderson. Morgan Hicks won the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly. Lauren Elston won the 50 freestyle and 500 freestyle. Both swimmers were on one winning relay.
Bluffton defeated Blackford 132-50. Claire Seelen finished second in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly. Whitley Felver finished second in the 500 freestyle and Dakota Moehler finished secondin the 50 freestyle.
WRESTLING
Yorktown came home with a 49-12 victory over North Montgomery. Noah Little was the top finisher for the Tigers, pinning his opponent in 49 seconds. Dax Hiestand pinned his opponent in 52 seconds. Brad Laughlin also won for the Tigers, pinning his opponent in 1:28.
Fishers pulled away to a 51-27 victory over Central. Austin Wabel was a top finisher for Central, pinning his opponent in 1:12. Mykal Taylor was also a top finisher for the Bearcats, pinning his opponent in 1:52.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Union topped Burris 65-30. Alyssa Peters led the Owls offense, scoring 11 points. Jia Jones added eight points. DeAnn Kauffman, MacKyndsea Burke and Elena Trojanova tied for leading scorer, each posting 14 points.
Pendleton Heights pulled away to a 63-26 victory over Delta. Micaya Richardson led the Eagles with eight points. Sydney Decker added six points.
Yorktown defeated Monroe Central 49-31. Jenna Irelan and Katy Johnson led the Tigers with 16 points each. Emma McCord added 14 points. Mikaela McGrath led the Golden Bear offense with 10 points. Abigail McGrath added 10 points.
