GIRLS BASKETBALL
Central’s Jayla Scaife and Ke’Chell Tate were named to the All-North Central Conference team. Teammates Fa’Tara Davis and Savannah Jackson were named to the second team.
BOYS BASKETBALL
A limited number of presale tickets for the Class 3A Central Sectional may be purchased in the Blackford athletic office. The tickets are $10 apiece and are for all three sessions of the tournament. Single-session tickets are available for $6 at the door each night.
WRESTLING
Yorktown’s Cael McCormick and Jay County’s Levi Hummel and Colton Compton were named to the Junior Academic All-State First Team.
Blue River’s Emeline Scott and Devin Crabtree, Yorktown’s Hunter Hiestand were named to the Senior Academic All-State First Team. Jay County’s Jon Blankenship, Monroe Central’s Garett Calhoun, Winchester’s Thomas Underwood and Yorktown’s Jacob Stephenson and Dax Hiestand all received honorable mention.
