GIRLS BASKETBALL
New Castle’s Laura Thomas and Samantha Underwood were named to the All-Hoosier Heritage Conference first team. Yorktown’s Katy Johnson and Delta’s Micaya Richardson were also so honored. New Castle’s Zoe Curtis earned an honorable mention, as did Yorktown’s Jenna Irelan and Delta’s Teaghan Dishman and Ericka Pursley.
Heritage Hall fell to Crosspointe Christian 46-28. Hannah Johnson scored six points to guide the Patriots, and teammate Julia Keating scored five points and snagged a team-high seven rebounds.
