Heritage Hall wins conference title

Heritage Hall won an outright Central Indiana Christian Conference boys basketball title with a 60-50 victory against Crosspointe Christian Friday at Heritage Hall. Grant Prewitt had a huge night for the Patriots, scoring 26 points and snagging 10 rebounds. Teammate Skyler Posey also cracked double-figures with 12 points.

The Patriots finished the regular season 17-1 and 9-1 in conference play. They will begin play in the Indiana Association of Christian Schools tournament on March 6.

Alexandria 66, Wes-Del 57: The Warriors fell behind by 13 points by the end of the first quarter and by 19 at halftime, and couldn’t make up the deficit. Bryce Marsh had 14 points to lead the Wes-Del charge, and Samson Waters and Sutter Foster each scored 13.

Seton Catholic 54, Cowan 42: Clayton Kiplinger led the Blackhawks with 10 points, while teammate Brady Harris scored nine in the 12-point defeat.

Tri 68, Burris 55: David Baker scored 24 points to lead Burris while teammate Ryan Morey added 14 points. The Owls were behind by three points entering the fourth quarter before Tri pulled away.
