Blue River fell to Northeastern 13-3. D.J. Acton and Tommy Vanhook each went 2-for-3 at bat and scored a run for the Vikings.
Central fell to Lapel 6-2. Corey Bell led the Bearcats with two hits.
Jay County topped Adams Central 2-1. Cole Stigleman posted two RBIs for the Patriots.
Seton Catholic edged out Wes-Del 4-3. Adam Routh hit a 3-run home run for the Warriors and Connor Townsend went 2-for-3 at the plate.
BOYS GOLF
Blue River topped Union 189-206. Noah Madison shot 42 to finish as the medalist for Blue River. Union’s Matt Tucker followed with a 43.
Delta shot a 160 to defeat Daleville (175) and Cowan (207). Joseph Tempest shot a 37 to medal for Delta. Kaleb Rench led Daleville shooting a 39 and Austin Smith led Cowan with a 47.
Blackford held off Jay County 171-180. Blake Thiery shot a 38 to medal for the Bruins while Jay Houck led the Patriots with a 39.
BOYS TRACK
Cowan defeated Wes-Del 78-45. Blake Brooks and Seth Combs each chipped in two individual wins for the Blackhawks. Samson Waters led the Warriors, finishing first in the 110 and 300 hurdles and the long jump.
Blue River fell to Hagerstown (105) and Union City (75). Jonah Madison won the high jump for the Vikings.
Winchester pulled out a 63-60 victory over South Adams. Kiante Enis led the Golden Falcons, winning the 100, 200 and high jump.
GIRLS TRACK
Wes-Del pulled away to a 971/2-251/2 victory over Cowan. Perrie Smalley, Kyleigh Blackmer and Makayla Johnson each picked up two individual wins for the Warriors. Sabrina Smith led Cowan, finishing first in discus.
GIRLS TENNIS
Delta shut out New Palestine 5-0. The Eagles’ Maggie Thompson and Grace Belangee won No. 2 singles and No. 3 singles respectively, 6-0, 6-0.
Jay County defeated Winchester 4-1. Grace Retter had the sole win for the Golden Falcons, winning No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-4. Kyra Braun led the Patriots, winning No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-3.
Yorktown edged Mt. Vernon 3-2. Kate Avila conceded just one game in her win at No. 2 singles for the Tigers, and No. 1 doubles team Blair Smith and Laura Scanameo won 6-0, 6-4.
Yorktown defeated Central 4-1 on Wednesday.
SOFTBALL
Winchester pulled out an 8-5 win over Cowan. Morgan Roberts and Catie Reel each went 3-for-4 at the plate for the Blackhawks.
Yorktown topped Delta 3-0. Logan Bland led the Eagles with two hits including a double. Kara Tucker went 3-for-4 at the plate for the Tigers.
Jay County fell to Adams Central 9-5. Catherine Dunn had two hits for the Patriots, including a double, and scored two runs.
New Castle fell to Lapel 4-3 on Wednesday. Emily Gundy had two hits for the Trojans.
