Sophie Bader, Jay County
Bader, a junior, qualified for state in the 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle last season, while also qualifying in two relays. She finished 22nd in the preliminaries of the 100 butterfly.
Shelby Haggard, Central
Haggard qualified for state as part of Central’s 200 freestyle relay team last year. She finished second at sectionals in both the 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle.
Morgan Hicks, Yorktown
Hicks was part of two state-qualifying relay teams for Yorktown last year. Her sectional time of 1:07.10 in the 100 breaststroke was just .02 seconds away from the state qualifying time.
Katie Keller, Yorktown
Keller finished 21st at state in the 100 backstroke last season, and she also qualified for state in two relays for the Tigers last year.
Anne Vormohr, Jay County
Vormohr was one of two swimmers from East Central Indiana who advanced to the second day of the state meet last year. She finished 11th in the 100 backstroke there. She was also a state qualifier in the 100 freestyle and in two relays.
