Winchester fell 47-44 in a tight Tri-Eastern Conference game with Northeastern. Mariah Roberts scored 25 points, while Rebecca Neville added seven with 11 rebounds.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Fans attending Friday’s Yorktown-Burris can get in free with the donation a package of six socks as part of a drive to benefit the Muncie Mission. The socks should be men’s crew socks, sizes 6-12, in packages of six. Boxes will be set up at the entrance to the gym for sock donations.
